About the careers day
Our most recent flagship event for biosciences students was held online, with sessions taking place from Tuesday 2nd-Thursday 4th November 2021.
Building on the success of previous in-person and online careers events, Bioscience Careers Day (BCD) once again welcomed students from across the UK and further afield. The event was coordinated by the Royal Society of Biology's Careers Committee.
What can you expect from attending BCD?
- Talks from experts in their field about the variety of careers available to bioscience graduates
- Downloadable careers resources
- Sessions on essential skills such as communication and transitioning between study and work
- A chance to ask questions to representatives from learned societies and top organisations
Who can attend?
BCD is aimed at undergraduate and Master's students. PhD students, postdocs, careers advisors and school/ college students considering a bioscience degree are also very welcome. Employers, if you would like to meet talented students focussed on their future careers, find out about our sponsorship opportunities.
